PIPO M1 Tablet
I bought the PIPO M1 recently and would have liked more reviews before purchasing, so include my findings for interested parties. Have only had it a couple of days so these are first impressions.
This is our fourth tablet. The first tablet had a resistive screen but features were good and we got hooked on Angry Birds. A Christmas present for my wife of a Sony S tablet is heavily used by her, so I bought a 7" Momo 9 for myself which has been excellent. I've also had three different Android phones so am reasonably adept at unlocking, rooting and loading new firmware (I've had to leave the Sony alone!). Important criteria for the new tablet were value for money, performance, screen quality,WiFi range, and battery life.
I wanted a rooted tablet so bought the tablet from Topnotchtablets - a US company who produce firmware more suitable for non Chinese users (search for Roman at slatedroid). Because the device (like most Chinese tablets) is not CE certified it cannot be sold...
