Nice but not entirely functional nor of similar quality to original cables
For me this product is a clear requirement for listening to music on my iPhone. However, there are a few issues with them.
I listen to music a lot, every day really. I'm a careful user though and given that the headphones are 300GBP I intended to take care of these and have always kept them in their case. The original cable (as supplied with the 535) boasts protected and stiff/flexible cable from the connector. These are not.
1. the coating split at the ear piece within 5months... faster than any other cable on other headphones of the same price (as this cable only!)
2. the controller doesn't work with my mac like every other similar controller I've owned on other earbud headphones.
So... why 40GBP? I'm just VERY glad that Shure decided to have changeable cables on the 535 as I would be royally hacked off. Other than the fact that there seems no other alternative for this controller I would not recommend them.
