Does what it says
Yes, it works. When I plug it in (via an adaptor) to my TV aerial I get good DAB, FM and TV reception, even on a modestly powered netbook. It's compatible with Microsoft Media Center and works with Windows 7 drivers so you don't have to use the s/w on the supplied CD if you don't want to.
But - reception using the supplied aerial is quite hopeless. This is not unexpected, but a shame, seeing as how the main point of this device is to be able to watch TV or listen to radio on the go. If it only works well when you plug it into a fixed aerial (which probably already has a TV plugged into it) then, apart from its utility as a PVR, what's the point?
On the other hand, I've tried it as a SDR (with SDR#) and it works just fine - again only when attached to a fixed aerial. It's not all that sensitive and certainly nothing like as good as a Funcube but as it only costs a tiny fraction of a Funcube's price that's OK.
