Very pleased with the starpad tablet
Having bought it and played with it I'd buy it again. Seriously thinking of buying my wife one. The startpad is really excellent giving access to all of googles android aps in a form that is, in my opinion, actually easier to use than on a mobile phone. For me - It was time to replace my Android mobile and I thought I'd get a simpler phone combined with a Wifi tablet instead of a top of the range phone. The phone handles all my voice,messaging and email reading and the starpad all my writing (this text) , watching and listening to media and connecting to computer services (ssh, etc). I already have an investment in android apps, quick office etc, and a choice of aps helped me tame the Starpad to my needs. Especially I downloaded the Dolphin Browser as BBC's Iplayer wouldn't work with ithe installed browser. One annoying detail of the preinstalled apps is an app for chinse pinyin characters.
